• How to connect an investor to my strategy?

  While you are trading, investors connect to your strategy themselves through the rating of managers.
  
  The better your results, the higher your place in the ranking. The higher you rank, the more often investors pay attention to your strategy and connect to it.
  
  If you want to connect with more investors, share a link to your strategy profile on social networks.
  
  We actively advertise our service, and your strategy will not go unnoticed.

• How is the manager's remuneration calculated and paid?

  The reward is paid every Monday at 17:00 terminal time. You receive remuneration only for transactions closed before this point.
  
  The service calculates remuneration according to the High-water mark system. The general principle is simple: managers only receive a commission when their strategy makes a profit for investors.
  
  The manager receives a commission from this profit of 0 to 70%. They set the commission percentage themselves and can change it.

  Let's analyze the High-water mark (HWM) system in more detail.
  
  The high-water mark is a reward system in which managers receive their commission only when they generate a net profit for the investor. HWM is calculated from the accounts of investors, and this calculation is individual for each investor.
  
  When an investor connects to your strategy, the system automatically sets the first High-water mark at the level of their initial investment.
  
  You, as a manager, trade according to your strategy. At the end of the first trading period, the system automatically checks the strategy against Equity and Balance of the investor account in order to calculate your commission. It is paid only if both indicators on the investor's account are above the first level of the High-water mark.
  
  Suppose the check by the High-water mark system was successful. In that case, the value of the previous HWM level is subtracted from the current Balance of the investor — this is the investor's profit for the trading period. From it, the investor pays your commission.
  
  The new HWM level is the investor's balance after paying the first commission.
  
  Example:
  
  The investor made an initial deposit of 1000 USD. After one trading period, they had 1100 USD. Manager's commission — 30%. Funds over 1000 USD.
  
  The manager fee (30 USD) is paid, and the HWM level is upgraded to 1070 USD.
  
  Further, for the commission to be paid next time, the Balance and Funds must be more than 1070 USD at the end of the next period. If one of the indicators is less, no commission is paid. And will not be paid as long as both indicators are below 1070 USD.
  
  This is the calculation procedure for one investor. If several investors connect to you, each pays a commission for your profitable trading and sometimes increases your income.

• How is the rating of managers formed? How to become a leader?

  Our service automatically generates managers' rating using a flexible filter system that considers profitability for different periods, strategy age, and balance. Investors independently set filters depending on their interests.
  
  When calculating, the system does not consider your open positions and ranks all managers based on already closed deals.
  
  The default rating displays a list of managers by profitability. The more profitable your trade, the higher your strategy is on the list, and the more investors will see you.
  
  The rating is updated daily.

• How many strategies can I open?

  You can have up to 5 active strategies at the same time. The minimum balance for each strategy is 100 USD.

• What kind of account do I need to open to become a manager? What trading instruments and terminals will be available?

  Invest account is the main one for the GC Invest system. You can use it both as an investor and as a manager. The account is created automatically when you click the "Become an investor" or "Become a manager" button in your Private Office, section "Investments."
  
  With it, you centralize all balance operations: replenishment and withdrawal of funds, distribution of the deposit for your investments and/or strategies, and the transfer of commission from investors.
  
  Strategy plays the role of a special trading account type for the manager to work in the GC Invest system. The strategy gets into the rating, and its profile is displayed on the site.
  
  Profit from trades is credited to the balance of the strategy. A manager can have up to 5 active strategies.
  
  Trading on a strategy is no different from trading on a regular account, except that the transactions are copied by investors.
  
  MetaTrader 4 and WebTrader platforms can be used for trading. You can check the trading conditions and instruments available for strategy accounts on the specs page.

• Are the risks for managers and investors balanced?

  The potential profit and risk levels are equalized for investors and managers due to the copy ratio.
  
  The copy ratio is a ratio that is automatically set when investing in a strategy. The coefficient consists of the ratio of investment funds to the funds in the strategy.
  
  Example:
  
  A manager with a balance of 10,000 USD opens a deal with a volume of 1 lot. If a user invests 1000 USD in their strategy, all future transactions will be copied to the investor's account with a coefficient of 0.1 lot.
  
  If the investment is less than 100 USD, the service will not copy the trade since the minimum trade volume will not be reached, taking into account the coefficient (minimum 0.01 lot).
  
  Please note:
  
  The manager can trade in volumes close to the minimum. Therefore, not all transactions may be copied when investing an amount less than the balance of such a strategy.

• Can an investor interfere in trading?

  Investors see all open and closed transactions in the Private Office. But they cannot interfere in trading.
  
  An investor can disconnect from your strategy only if there are open positions and only before the close of the trading session. When the account is disconnected from the manager's strategy, all open positions on the investor's account are automatically closed at current prices.
  
  When all deals are closed, before the official end of the trading period, the High-water mark checking is triggered.
  
  If, as a result of the check, the system calculates a commission that the investor must pay to the manager, it is automatically deducted from the investor's funds and transferred to the author of the strategy. The remaining funds go to the investor's Invest account.
